This group supports projects from concept through commissioning and works across utility, data center, industrial, and power generation applications.
These positions have been created due to continued growth and increasing project demand.
About the Role
Electrical Engineer II
The Electrical Engineer II supports projects from early-stage customer discussions through design, commissioning, startup, and field support. This role requires strong technical design capabilities, practical field experience, and the ability to independently execute engineering work while leading smaller projects and project workstreams with limited supervision.
Electrical Engineer III
The Electrical Engineer III supports projects from early-stage customer discussions through design, commissioning, startup, and field support. This role serves as a senior technical contributor responsible for leading complex and large-scale projects, driving technical decisions across multiple disciplines, and mentoring junior engineers while maintaining ownership of design quality and project execution.

Responsibilities:
Electrical Engineer II
- Design and implement MV and HV AC electrical systems and 1000V DC systems.
- Develop equipment layouts, grounding systems, cable routing, equipment specifications, and bills of material.
- Support power generation, distribution, substation, and microgrid projects.
- Perform Arc Flash, Load Flow, Grounding, Relay Coordination, and Short Circuit studies.
- Translate study results into design and equipment selection decisions.
- Lead and support commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, energization, and system testing activities.
- Provide project engineering support, respond to RFIs, and coordinate with customers, utilities, vendors, and EPC partners.
- Work closely with Mechanical, Controls, Manufacturing, Reliability, and Operations teams.
- Contribute to company standards, templates, equipment specifications, and engineering best practices.
- Lead smaller projects and assigned project workstreams with limited supervision.
- Provide peer review for Electrical Engineer I deliverables and support onboarding of new team members.
Electrical Engineer III
- Design and implement MV and HV AC electrical systems and 1000V DC systems.
- Develop equipment layouts, grounding systems, cable routing, equipment specifications, and bills of material.
- Lead complex power generation, distribution, substation, and microgrid projects.
- Perform and oversee Arc Flash, Load Flow, Grounding, Relay Coordination, and Short Circuit studies.
- Translate study results into design and equipment selection decisions.
- Lead commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, energization, and system testing activities.
- Provide project engineering support, respond to RFIs, and coordinate with customers, utilities, vendors, and EPC partners.
- Work closely with Mechanical, Controls, Manufacturing, Reliability, and Operations teams.
- Develop and improve company standards, templates, equipment specifications, and engineering best practices.
- Lead large or multi-disciplinary projects from concept through commissioning.
- Serve as a technical resource for internal teams and external partners.
- Mentor Electrical Engineer I and II engineers through technical guidance, design reviews, and project support.
Qualifications:
Electrical Engineer II
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in electrical power systems design and electrical commissioning.
- Experience in power generation, utilities, substations, transmission & distribution, or EPC environments.
- Field commissioning and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience performing electrical power systems design and analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to independently execute designs and commissioning activities.
Preferred
- PE License or active pursuit of licensure.
- Experience with data centers, microgrids, BESS, utility interconnections, or substations.
Electrical Engineer III
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- 8-15 years of experience leading electrical design and commissioning projects.
- Experience in power generation, utilities, substations, transmission & distribution, or EPC environments.
- Significant field commissioning and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience performing electrical power systems design and analysis.
- Proven experience leading complex projects and providing technical mentorship.
- Demonstrated history of design ownership and cross-functional project delivery.
Preferred
- PE License strongly preferred.
- Experience with data centers, microgrids, BESS, utility interconnections, or substations.
Notable Project Exposure:
- Large-scale data center power projects.
- Power generation and grid-connected infrastructure.
- El Reno Power Innovation Facility testing programs.
- Strategic partnerships with leading energy and technology organizations.
Working Environment:
- Hybrid office environment.
