Director of FP&A to lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across the organization.
The
Director of FP&A will play a critical leadership role in driving financial strategy, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, and delivering insights that support decision-making across all business units. This individual will work closely with the CFO, CAO, and operational leaders to guide strategic planning and optimize financial performance.
Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes across all business units (sales, leasing, service, and parts).
Develop and maintain
financial models to support strategic initiatives and scenario planning.
Analyze financial and operational performance, identify trends, and provide
actionable insights.
Partner with department leaders to align financial plans with business objectives.
Prepare and present monthly and quarterly dashboards, KPIs, and variance analyses to executive leadership.
Support M&A activity, capital planning, and investment analysis.
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure alignment between actuals and forecasts.
Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and systems.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting platforms and dashboards.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
6+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning skills.
Industry experience in
dealerships, leasing, equipment rental, or similar asset-based businesses preferred.
Proficiency in financial systems and tools (Excel, Power BI, Adaptive Insights, etc.).
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
