Hospitality Cleaner – Boutique Hotel

We are a forward-thinking property management and hospitality company that has recently launched a high-end, tech-enabled boutique hotel in downtown Portsmouth. Our mission is to blend boutique hotel elegance with residential comfort, offering guests a seamless and elevated experience. We’re seeking dedicated Hospitality Cleaners to join our team.
Position Overview
This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest suites and common areas in line with hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Clean and service guest suites and common areas including lobbies, hallways, and laundry rooms
· Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities
· Wash, dry, and fold linens and towels
· Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize surfaces and bathrooms
· Restocking snacks, coffee, water, etc.
· Respond to guest requests and maintain a welcoming environment
· Document cleaning activities and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
· Prior experience in commercial or hospitality cleaning preferred
· Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
· Ability to adapt to changing responsibilities and environments
· Tech-savvy and comfortable using mobile devices (iPhone or tablet) to manage room readiness, maintenance updates, and task reporting through digital property systems.
· Strong attention to detail and time management skills
· High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift 25–50 lbs, bend, stoop, climb, and stand for prolonged periods
· Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments
· Weekend and holiday availability required
