Project Manager, Water Treatment

This is an opportunity for a Project Manager with water treatment experience to join an established, employee owned, full service civil engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects. The Project Manager will support water treatment plant design and municipal utility infrastructure projects, working closely with junior engineers and municipal clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Compensation
$100,000 to $160,000 per year, based on experience.
What You'll Do
This role is responsible for project planning and execution from proposal through delivery, including preparing proposals and scopes of work for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The Project Manager leads and mentors junior engineers throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification. Building relationships with state and local municipalities and agencies is a valuable part of the role, along with representing the firm at industry conferences and through active participation in professional associations.
Required Qualifications
Active North Carolina Professional Engineer (PE) license
5 to 15 years of relevant water or wastewater project experience, including water treatment plant design and municipal utility infrastructure
Experience with AutoCAD
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
Preferred Qualifications
Business development experience
Experience presenting at industry conferences
Established relationships with state and local municipalities and agencies
Active involvement in professional associations
