Harvest Technician / Cultivation SupportFlower Montana
Flower Montana is hiring a full-time Harvest Technician / Cultivation Support employee to help maintain steady harvest and post-harvest flow in our cultivation facility.
Flower is a mature, vertically integrated cannabis company in Montana. Our cultivation facility supplies our own retail outlets, which means harvest and post-harvest work are part of an ongoing production pipeline rather than a short-term or seasonal job.
This is a steady full-time production role in a cannabis cultivation environment. The work is physical, repetitive, detail-sensitive, and timing-critical. The right person understands that harvest work is driven by plant readiness, drying conditions, biomass movement, and the company’s monthly production cadence.
This is not a casual cannabis job or a temporary trim position. This is full-time production work for someone reliable, steady, and willing to help keep product moving through a mature operating system.
Position Summary
The Harvest Technician / Cultivation Support role helps with plant take-down, harvest preparation, bucking, drying and curing support, cleaning, sanitation, room reset, material movement, and general cultivation support.
Flower’s cultivation and harvest process is built around a steady monthly cadence: harvest, dry, cure, process, test, release, and prepare for the next round. This rhythm supports packaging, retail inventory, product availability, and customer demand across Flower’s stores.
Reliability matters. When harvest or post-harvest work falls behind, it can create pressure on storage, processing, testing, packaging, and retail inventory. The right person understands that their work directly supports the larger product flow of the company.
Pay & Benefits
Starting pay: $20.00 per hour
This is a full-time position.
Benefits include:
- Health insurance
- Paid time off
- Employee discount
- Stable full-time employment
- Opportunity to grow within a mature production cannabis company
Schedule
This is generally a weekday-based full-time role.
Flower operates on a steady monthly harvest and post-harvest cadence. The goal is not boom-and-bust work. The goal is consistent product flow: harvest, dry, cure, process, test, release, and move into the next round.
Because the work is tied to living plants, drying conditions, biomass readiness, and room movement, occasional adjusted scheduling may be needed to maintain cadence. That could include an early start, later finish, or occasional weekend support when timing truly matters.
Weekend work is not intended to be the normal schedule. The expectation is steady full-time work with enough flexibility to protect the production rhythm when the crop or biomass requires it.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with harvest preparation and plant take-down
- Bucking harvested plants
- Moving harvested biomass safely and cleanly through post-harvest stages
- Supporting drying, curing, binning, and harvest-room organization
- Cleaning and sanitizing tools, equipment, work areas, and harvest spaces
- Assisting with room resets after harvest
- Helping maintain clean, organized, production-ready work areas
- Supporting cultivation tasks when harvest work is not active
- Following company procedures for product handling, cleanliness, labeling, and compliance
- Communicating issues, delays, quality concerns, or support needs to leadership
- Working efficiently as part of a team to keep monthly production cadence steady

- Respectful, professional, and team-oriented
- More interested in doing the work well than just “working around cannabis”
Physical Requirements
This role may require the ability to:
- Stand for long periods of time
- Bend, reach, lift, squat, and perform repetitive motions
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed
- Work around cannabis plants, harvested biomass, soil/media, moisture, and cleaning supplies
- Perform detailed manual work for extended periods

- Understand that timing matters in agriculture
- Are comfortable with repetitive tasks
- Care about cleanliness, quality, and follow-through
- Want to help supply real retail stores with consistent in-house product
