St. Joseph’s House is an emergency overnight shelter program for men and women facing homelessness.
We have an opening for a full time Shelter Shift Supervisor to support our progressive Shelter Manager in managing the largest shelter on Cape Cod. Our Shift Supervisor will:
· Ensure compliance with operational rules and regulations on shift
- Ensure documentation is completed
- Supervise a small group of employees who are shelter monitors
- Conduct inspections during the shift and ensure the shelter guest are adhering to the rules of the shelter
- Ensure a safe environment for all
- Ensure the daily check in and inspection process is effectively and efficiently conducted
- Ensure all facility issues are addressed timely

What You Bring to The Table
- Associates degree preferred
- Some supervisory or team leader experience
- Experience in human services related field helpful, but not required
· Critical thinking skills, leadership skills and personal accountability for the quality and impact of work
· Excellent organizational and communication skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Outlook.
· A reliable ensured vehicle, good driving record and valid driver’s license
· Commitment to integrity, excellence, and the highest standards of ethics
