Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs, to determine diagnoses and develop treatment plans.
- Manage chronic conditions related to endocrinology and obesity medicine.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation and coding (CPT, ICD-9/10).
- Provide patient education on medication administration, nutrition, and health coaching tailored to individual needs.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current state licensure.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems including ECW.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology necessary for accurate patient assessment and diagnosis.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced outpatient environment; experience with triage is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills for working with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of OSHAA/ HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance and confidentiality.

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our growing endocrinology practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with a specialist endocrinologist in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Position Details
- Schedule: Part-time (3 days per week)
- Growth Opportunity: Potential transition to full-time within 6–12 months
- Patient Volume: Approximately 15–18 patients per day
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for patients with endocrine disorders
- Conduct patient evaluations, follow-ups, and management plans
- Review laboratory results and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Assist with prior authorizations and medication management
- Address patient inquiries and support continuity of care
- Collaborate closely with the physician to support practice growth and efficiency

Ideal Candidate
