As a Welder II, you will play an essential role in our Plant Operations team, focusing on the final welding of aluminum and stainless-steel railing components. Your main responsibilities will include completing necessary certifications, interpreting shop drawings and weld symbols, and maintaining high visual and structural standards for welding handrails. You will operate various equipment used in the fabrication of handrails, with a focus on welding stainless steel and aluminum.
Responsibilities-
Perform stainless-steel and aluminum TIG welding on custom railing products, ensuring high-quality results.

Collaborate closely with fellow welders and manufacturing team members to complete and ship products on time.

Safely operate various welding tools and fabrication machinery.

Identify and resolve welding issues; provide recommendations for process improvements.

Execute other duties as assigned by management to support overall plant operations.
Essential Skills-
Minimum of 2 years of welding experience with stainless steel or aluminum.

Ability to fabricate from sketches and verbal instructions.

Mechanical aptitude with experience in using tools such as saws, drill presses, and brake presses.

Ability to pass a welding ability test, as well as any required AWS certifications.

Strong accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to produce high-quality results consistently.

Proven track record of reliability, accountability, and adherence to deadlines.

Strong commitment to safety, with experience following safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented setting.

High School Diploma or GED required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications-
Experience in blueprint reading.

Proficiency in structure and fabrication techniques.

Work Environment
The position is on the 1st Shift, from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with the possibility of 8 hours of overtime on Fridays. The role involves prolonged periods of standing, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and requires flexibility for stooping, reaching, and kneeling for extended periods.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
