Position Summary: Provides prompt and courteous service to all customers of team-provided services. Provides administrative support to the team leader for office functions and assigned program areas, including various special events. Reports to the team leader, from which overall work direction and assignments are received.
Job Duties:
- Assist members with any requests.
- Review regional managers' expense reports for processing.
- Maintain County Resource Guide for County Presidents.
- Process all county committee updates to IFB database by the first of the year as reported by regional managers.
- Maintain committee lists in database for Field Operations Team.
- Maintain all county engagement lists in the database for your team.
- Assist with promotional items ordered by counties.
- Assist Field Operations Director with selection of promotional items for county gifts and awards.
- Prepare appropriate reports for team, board of directors meetings, and other meetings as requested.
- Manage all logistics for team monthly meetings.
- County awards for members.
- Manage Membership Awards.
- Prepare reports and distribution by district.
- AFBF Exchange Programs.
- Prepare packets and materials as instructed.
Job Requirements:
- Requires excellent customer service skills, including written and verbal communication and organization skills.
- Requires excellent computer skills and must possess the capability to operate a variety of office machines. Must possess or quickly become proficient in Microsoft programs, including Word, Access, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience with database management is a plus.
- Requires the ability to work with confidential information.
- Must acquire an understanding of the organization's general philosophy and goals and consistently project a professional image in dealing with people.
- Must be able to proficiently handle multiple tasks under time sensitive situations. Applicant must be a positive influence in establishing and maintaining a good professional relationship with internal and external customers.
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Post secondary course work in business is preferred. Requires a minimum of two years' experience as an administrative assistant, or related work experience.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while performing office and computer-based tasks.

- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. (e.g., promotional items, event materials).
- Ability to move about the office and travel occasionally for meetings or events as needed.
