Our client is currently seeking a Diesel Mechanic Technician for they facility located in Middletown NY. We’re looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our overnight team. If you’re a dependable technician who takes pride in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently—and you prefer the quiet, focused pace of third shift—this is a strong fit for you.
Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel trucks, trailers, and related equipment
Perform routine preventative maintenance and DOT inspections
Troubleshoot engine, transmission, electrical, and brake systems
Complete work orders accurately and efficiently
Safely move equipment in and out of the shop using your
Collaborate with the team to ensure all units are road‑ready by morning
Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy‑duty technician
Strong understanding of diagnostic tools and repair procedures
Ability to work independently on third shift
