Overview
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with a strong background in PLC programming and electrical system design to support the development of custom OEM machinery. This role plays a critical part in designing, programming, and commissioning control systems for high-performance industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, program, and debug PLC software for custom automation and packaging machinery

Design electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical

Select and integrate electrical components including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servos, sensors, and safety devices

Collaborate with mechanical engineers and project teams to ensure seamless system integration

Support machine startup, testing, and troubleshooting in-house (minimal to no travel)

Maintain and improve standard PLC code, electrical design templates, and documentation

Ensure designs comply with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and customer specifications
Qualifications:

5+ years of PLC programming experience on Allen Bradley

Experience with AutoCAD Electrical preferred
