This position performs technical and mechanical work that ensures the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the property meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Oversees the overall maintenance operations of residential community and working with site management to ensure company standards, policies and procedures are met.
2. Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service, as well as preventative maintenance on the property.
3. Completes the “make-ready” process of vacant apartments leasing.
4. Performs inventory control and order processing for needed materials and equipment.
5. Assists in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash and debris, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
6. Inspecting the property and apartments to ensure compliance with company standards and best practices for decent safe and sanitary housing.
7. Supports cost-cutting and expense control efforts by making repairs and using materials and supplies efficiently.
