This organization is a mission-driven non-profit that prioritizes a supportive culture and employee well-being over high-end market salaries. They offer a comprehensive benefits package and an exceptionally generous leave policy, which includes 11 paid holidays and additional time off aligned with state-mandated closures.
As a growing entity, they are a dedicated second-chance employer with a nuanced hiring philosophy:
- Inclusivity: They actively hire candidates with diverse backgrounds, excluding only recent violent, weapon-related, theft, or sexual offenses.
- Contextual Review: They demonstrate flexibility by considering candidates with older violent charges (20+ years) provided they have maintained a clean record.
- Strategic Placement: While certain building restrictions may apply based on a candidate's history, the organization actively seeks ways to accommodate and hire qualified individuals.
Overall, the organization trades higher commercial pay for long-term stability, professional growth, and a positive, empathetic work environment.
