Overview
IFS Delivers is a Final Mile company specializing in White Glove Home Delivery. We work with major retailers within the country. We are a growing company and looking for motivated folks to join our team! We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher / Driver Check-in Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in following up / overseeing deliveries ensuring timely delivery of product, and maintaining effective communication with drivers and clients. This position requires analytical skills, proficiency in various transportation management systems, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Communicate with drivers throughout the day to ensure deliveries are timely and completed accurately.
- Addresses any customer issues and/or provides resolution to problems that are within the scope of work. If out scope, engage management on-site.
- Accurate data logging, billing and maintaining records.
- Providing real-time support to the driver teams.
- Make 24 / 48 hr precalls to customers to validate accuracy of order and availability.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders via phone systems / TEAMS.
- Providing support to retail client and end-user customer.
- Your start time would be 6am. Part of your time will be in the warehouse.
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette while addressing inquiries or resolving issues.
Experience
- Proven experience in dispatching or a related logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Have flexibility to operate and be self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using various software tools including excel, TEAMS.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and clients.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
