Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will develop and implement tailored treatment plans to improve patients’ mobility, strength, and overall well-being. You will work across inpatient, outpatient, home health, and community care environments, ensuring exceptional patient care through your expertise in physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
Duties
- Assess patients’ physical conditions and establish individualized care plans based on their needs and goals
- Administer therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and exercise programs to promote recovery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning and ensure seamless patient transitions between care settings
- Educate patients and their families on physiotherapy techniques, injury prevention, and ongoing self-care strategies
- Document patient progress accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and maintain detailed treatment records
- Conduct assessments in various environments including hospitals, clinics, home health visits, and community settings
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advances in orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and other relevant fields
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a licensed Physical Therapist in the applicable jurisdiction
- Proven experience working in acute care, inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home health environments
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and rehabilitation techniques
- Experience with discharge planning, care plan development, and patient care documentation
- Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation protocols
- Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations including pediatrics and geriatrics
- Excellent communication skills to educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams
- Prior experience in orthopedics, trigger point therapy, or community-based care is highly desirable

Pay: $52.00 - $65.00 per hour
