Achievement House Cyber Charter School is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-oriented Director of Enrollment & Student Services to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our school community. The Director of Enrollment & Student Services serves as a strategic, results-driven leader responsible for driving enrollment growth and student retention and well-being at Achievement House Cyber Charter School. This evolving role oversees the full lifecycle - from lead generation through onboarding and student retention- ensuring alignment with organizational goals, compliance requirements, and student success outcomes.
The Director of Enrollment & Student Services develops and executes data-informed strategies to meet and exceed enrollment targets, strengthen the school’s market position, and deliver an exceptional family experience in a competitive educational landscape.
Responsibilities
Enrollment Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute a comprehensive enrollment strategy aligned with monthly, annual, and long-term targets and organizational goals.
- Establish, monitor, and achieve key enrollment KPIs, including application processing timelines, onboarding completion, timely equipment to students, student starts, and retention rates.
- Analyze trends, competitor activity, and internal data to continuously refine enrollment strategies.
- Partner with marketing to optimize lead generation, outreach campaigns, and conversion funnels.
- Utilize CRM systems to track and report on progress toward enrollment and retention targets.
- Continuously improve processes to maximize efficiency and conversion across the enrollment lifecycle.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing enrollment and student services team focused on results, collaboration, and customer service excellence.
- Foster a culture of accountability, urgency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Provide targeted training aligned to enrollment practices, student needs, family experience, attendance, and compliance.
- Provide guidance and coordination across teams to support student health, including alignment with attendance, student services, and special education supports.
- Set and communicate clear performance goals, establish accountability measures, and conduct regular, data-driven evaluations to support staff and program development and alignment with organizational and department goals.
Family Experience & Conversion
- Ensure a responsive, high-quality experience for prospective families from inquiry through onboarding.
- Oversee multi-channel communication strategies (calls, texts, email, virtual events) to maximize engagement and conversion.
- Partner with families and students to identify and remove barriers to enrollment and student success.
Student Services & Attendance
- Oversee student services programs and functions, including attendance, intervention, and compliance.
- Ensure consistent and equitable implementation of the Student Code of Conduct and student discipline practices.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve attendance, reduce truancy, and support student success.
- Ensure a consistent and comprehensive approach to student well-being in compliance with PDE regulations, FERPA requirements, and school policies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and appropriateness of student health, behavioral, mental health, and intervention programs and resources for students and families.
- Attend truancy hearings and communicate with magistrates, families, and legal representatives as needed.
Data Driven Decision Making
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track enrollment, attendance, behavior, interventions, and retention.
- Analyze trends in absenteeism, withdrawals, and student risk factors to make informed strategic decisions.
- Align student services data with enrollment and retention goals and implement data-driven interventions to address and improve academic, behavioral, and attendance challenges/barriers.
- Report regularly to leadership and the Board of Directors on performance metrics, forecasts, and strategic insights. Supply requisite data to the Director of Family & Student Experience for monthly Board presentations. Attend monthly board meetings.
Compliance & Operations
- Oversee and ensure compliance with state regulations including but not limited to, PA Charter School requirements, truancy laws, student health records, and PIMS/Child Accounting reporting.
- Oversee enrollment operations, including documentation, verification, onboarding materials, and process integrity.
- Ensure accurate data across all systems (CRM, SIS, LMS, and communication platforms).
- Represent the school at events and engagement sessions as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned and based on school needs.
Success Outcomes
- Enrollment Growth & Retention: Develop and execute enrollment strategies that achieve at least 3% annual growth and retention rate of 85%.
- Conversion: Improve the conversion rates at each stage of the enrollment process from inquiry-to-enrollment-to-onboarding. Evaluating data from each stage and success post enrollment.
- Operational Efficiency: Reduce application processing times and increased applications processed per staff member to improve the enrollment lifecycle turnaround time during each stage (inquiries, application processing, decision turnaround, enrollment completion).
- Family Experience: Foster strong family relationships and high-quality experience, reflected in strong family surveys and NPS scores driving retention, referrals, and engagement.
- Team Performance: Lead a high-performing team with clear accountability, measurable productivity, and continuous improvement with each member consistently achieving goals, attainment rates, and increased engagement.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Administration, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progress experience in enrollment management, admissions, sales, or a related, performance-driven environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of direct management experience, including leading teams, supervising staff, and driving performance outcomes; experience in program management, customer service, or marketing environments preferred.
- Experience in cyber education or higher education setting preferred.
- Results-oriented with strong accountability for achieving enrollment goals.

- Technically proficient in MS Office, Student Information Systems (SIS), and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
