Signature Health and Wellness Center is a multi disciplinary out-patient facility that offers chiropractic, physical therapy, occupational therapy and acupuncture care. We are looking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant that is hard working, a people person, who works well with others. The hours for the position are Monday thru Thursday 10am-7pm and Friday 12pm-5pm.

Duties
- Assist licensed occupational therapists in developing and executing individualized care plans tailored to each patients needs.
- Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), manual handling, and functional mobility exercises to promote independence.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals—such as physicians, physical therapists to optimize treatment outcomes.
- Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain thorough care documentation for each patient.
- Utilize your knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to effectively contribute to treatment plans and patient care.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) from an accredited program.
- Prior experience working in inpatient settings, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, or home health environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to assist with ADLs and implement treatment plans effectively across diverse patient populations.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and physiology relevant to occupational therapy practice.
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
