The Reporting, Analytics, Planning & SFDC Manager is responsible for driving data-driven decision-making within the Commercial Operations team and serves as the business owner of the Salesforce (SFDC) platform. This role ensures the development and maintenance of robust reporting frameworks, strategic planning processes, and CRM data governance that enable commercial performance optimization.
This person acts as the bridge between commercial teams and technology, ensuring Salesforce is the single source of truth for pipeline, revenue, and customer data while delivering actionable insights that drive growth.

Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports, including Salesforce dashboards, to track KPIs across Commercial Operations

Create standardized reporting templates that ensure consistency and accuracy, with SFDC as the primary data source for commercial metrics

Lead the development of operational and financial forecasts in collaboration with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams

Support scenario planning by building data models that evaluate potential business outcomes under various assumptions

Align reporting and planning processes with overall business strategy and market conditions

Collaborate with senior leaders to establish metrics that measure and enhance performance across key business areas

Serve as the central point of contact for all reporting and analytics needs across Commercial Operations

Communicate complex data insights and analysis to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner

Identify inefficiencies in data collection, CRM workflows, and reporting processes, and implement solutions to streamline them

Work with cross-functional teams to improve data integration and consistency across systems, ensuring clean data flows between SFDC, ERP, and BI tools

Introduce data governance best practices across all reporting systems and Salesforce, defining standards, naming conventions, and field-level requirements

Partner with IT and data teams to integrate reporting tools, automate recurring reports, and optimize the Salesforce platform for commercial use cases

Identify capability gaps in reporting and SFDC adoption and close them through training, documentation, and change management

Own the Salesforce commercial data model, including accounts, opportunities, contacts, and custom objects

Define and enforce data standards, picklist values, opportunity stage definitions, and naming conventions across commercial teams

Translate commercial workflows into Salesforce processes such as lead-to-cash, opportunity management, and approval flows

Act as the bridge between commercial users and SFDC admin/IT, defining requirements and prioritizing platform enhancements

Drive CRM adoption across commercial teams through training, documentation, and ongoing support

Monitor adoption metrics and address compliance gaps

Design the reporting and dashboard architecture within Salesforce, defining views, access, and how pipeline, forecast, and territory reports are structured

Track and report against key performance metrics, including reporting accuracy and timeliness, number of actionable insights delivered, SFDC data completeness, CRM adoption rate, and pipeline-to-forecast accuracy

Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, or a related field

7+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, or financial planning, preferably within commercial operations

Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and pivot tables

Hands-on experience with SQL for querying large datasets
-
Strong understanding of Salesforce objects, relationships, and reporting

Knowledge of SFDC data governance, field-level security, and sharing models
-
Proven ability to design and manage end-to-end reporting systems and strategic planning processes

Experience as a Salesforce business owner or power user in a commercial environment

Understanding of CRM adoption strategies and change management

Proactive, takes initiative to identify gaps in data, CRM processes, and reporting, and drives solutions

Detail oriented, ensures accuracy and consistency

Customer centric, focused on delivering insights that improve customer experience and operational outcomes

Innovative, continuously explores new tools, techniques, and capabilities to improve reporting and platform effectiveness

Master's degree
-
Certifications or experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau, or financial modeling

Experience with Excel, Power BI, Gong, and Microsoft Fabric, or similar commercial analytics tools

Familiarity with ERP systems and their integration with analytics tools

Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques

Track record of defining CRM data models, driving adoption, and enforcing data governance standards

Strong familiarity with waste management, logistics, or service-based industries
-
Experience translating business requirements into CRM platform enhancements and workflows

Member of the Commercial Operations team
