Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Elementary Teacher to inspire and guide students in their early educational journey. Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, science, and social studies.
- Implement differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning styles and needs of young children.
- Monitor student progress through assessments, standardized testing, and performance data analysis to tailor instruction effectively.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to foster a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, lesson planning, and educational technology integration.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Incorporate special education strategies and work with students with autism or other learning differences when applicable.
Requirements
- Proven experience teaching elementary school students with a strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to adapt lessons for various learning styles.
- Experience working with children in early childhood education or private school settings preferred.
- Knowledge of curriculum implementation, literacy education, math instruction, and standardized testing procedures.
- Familiarity with educational technology tools, learning technology integration, and library services.
- Strong communication skills for effective parent-teacher interactions and team collaboration.
- Ability to perform childcare duties and support early intervention strategies when necessary.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or special education needs is a plus.
