Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and energetic Licensed Cosmetologist to join our dynamic beauty team! Duties
- Perform a wide range of beauty treatments including hair styling, hair extensions, barbering, and esthetic laser treatments to meet client needs.
- Deliver expert nail services such as manicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, nail extensions, pedicures, and nail care consultations.
- Apply color theory principles to recommend and execute hair coloring techniques that enhance client appearance.
- Conduct skin care procedures like dermabrasion, body waxing, and skin disinfection procedures following salon safety protocols.
- Provide eyelash extensions, hair threading, and other specialized esthetic services to diversify client offerings.
- Maintain strict sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Engage with clients through effective communication and client consultation to understand their preferences and upsell retail products confidently.
Requirements
- Valid state cosmetology license with comprehensive knowledge of salon safety protocols and sanitation standards.
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of diverse services including hair styling, nail art, waxing, and skincare treatments.
- Proficiency in color theory, nail extensions (including acrylics), gel manicures, eyelash extensions, and other advanced cosmetology techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with clients.
- Knowledge of disinfection procedures and salon safety protocols to ensure a hygienic workspace.
- Ability to perform retail sales effectively by upselling products such as hair care items or skincare solutions using retail math skills.
- Strong communication skills combined with a passion for beauty trends and continuous learning in esthetic laser treatments or dermabrasion techniques is a plus.
