STRADVISION's Technology (https://stradvision.com/_ENG/dh/technology)
- STRADVISION is the FIRST deep-learning based technology start-up company in the world who has obtained ASPICE CL2 certification in 2019.
- STRADVISION has also been honored with the AutoSens Awards for ‘Best-in-Class Software for Perception Systems’(Gold Award Winner) for 2 years in a row(2021, 2022).
- STRADVISION’s outstanding technology was recognized worldwide by successfully completing the Series C funding at KRW 107.6 billion with Aptiv and ZF Group in August, 2022.
- About 167 patents related to autonomous driving/ADAS have been acquired in Korea, Japan, US and Europe. As of today, STRADVISION is actively developing our technology to be differentiated.
- By the first half of 2025, vehicles equipped with SVNet surpassed 4 million units globally, maintaining growth despite economic slowdown and intensifying industry competition.
- In 2025, STRADVISION was ranked 10th in domestic AI competitiveness, following companies such as Samsung, Naver, and LG.
[Mission of the Role]
As a SoC Platform Project Manager, you will spearhead, lead, and navigate the development and execution of AD and ADAS projects delivered on automotive SoC platforms (e.g., Renesas, AMD, NVIDIA, TI, Qualcomm, Ambarella), ensuring they are delivered within the designated timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards to meet customer satisfaction. Your role is pivotal in bridging the gap between complex technical requirements — including deep learning network porting, optimization, and runtime integration on embedded SoC targets — and project execution, managing the software development lifecycle to drive successful product innovation and development.
In this capacity, you will effectively communicate with customers, SoC vendors, Tier-1 partners, and cross-functional project teams, orchestrating schedules, and proactively managing issues and risks. You will lead project members with a technical perspective grounded in an understanding of SoC hardware capabilities and constraints, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and problem-solving.
[Key Responsibilities]
- Direct the full project lifecycle, coordinating with data engineers, software engineers, platform engineers, validation engineers, and key stakeholders to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for customers and SoC vendors, balancing requirements and expectations with feature development, milestone planning, and risk management.
- Oversee software development planning and requirements analysis. Ensure continuous tracking of progress and adapt plans as necessary.
- Proactively identify, prioritize, and manage project issues and risks, aligning engineering resources and resolving discrepancies to maintain project trajectory.
- Regularly evaluate project metrics (e.g., customer satisfaction, timing, compliance with specifications, budget, and quality) and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
- Guarantee that all project activities adhere to relevant standards and processes, enhancing efficiency and quality of output.
- Negotiate and oversee change requests, aligning customer needs with project capabilities and resources.
- Conduct and facilitate essential meetings, including customer discussions, project team meetings to ensure alignment and progress.
- Exhibit exceptional multitasking skills to manage overlapping tasks, competing priorities, and dynamic project requirements effectively.
- Lead SoC platform projects end to end — from vendor and platform evaluation through SDK bring-up, porting, and optimization to mass-production release on the target SoC.
- Translate SoC hardware constraints (compute budget, memory bandwidth, power, and NPU/DSP/GPU accelerator capability) into realistic project scope, schedules, and performance targets.
- Drive benchmarking and KPI tracking on target hardware — inference latency, frames per second, accuracy after quantization, and memory footprint — and coordinate cross-functional resolution when targets are at risk.
- Manage joint development and technical engagements with SoC vendors and Tier-1 partners, including toolchain and SDK version alignment, issue escalation, and roadmap alignment.
[Basic Qualifications]
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management with software focus or a related role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively and efficiently.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to project completion.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management, strategic thinking, and effective communication across various levels of an organization.
- Working knowledge of embedded SoC architecture and the deep learning inference toolchain (NPU/DSP/GPU accelerators, vendor SDKs and compilers, quantization, and runtime integration).
- Hands-on experience delivering software on at least one automotive or embedded SoC platform (e.g., Renesas, AMD, NVIDIA, TI, Qualcomm, Ambarella).
[Preferred Qualificaitons]
- 3+ years of experience in AD and ADAS project teams
- 3+ years of experience in (embedded) software development
- Strong knowledge of automotive processes (e.g. ASPICE, ISO26262)
- 3+ years of experience working directly with SoC vendors or Tier-1 partners on platform bring-up and mass-production programs.
- Familiarity with model optimization for embedded targets — INT8 quantization, pruning, compiler/graph optimization, and hardware-aware performance profiling.
- Understanding of SoC-related safety and security topics (ISO 26262 hardware-software interface, ASIL decomposition, secure boot).
- Experience managing multiple concurrent SoC platform programs with overlapping silicon and software release cycles.
