Position Summary
Hurricane Grill & Wings is seeking energetic, friendly, and motivated Servers to join our team. Located in the heart of the beach community, we are a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant known for our award-winning wings, burgers, tropical atmosphere, and exceptional guest service.
As a Server, you will be responsible for providing outstanding hospitality, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience, and contributing to a positive team environment. Successful candidates thrive in busy settings, maintain a positive attitude under pressure, and are passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
Essential Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming dining experience.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Demonstrate knowledge of menu items, daily specials, sauces, beverages, and promotions.
- Make recommendations and upsell menu items when appropriate.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring order accuracy.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns professionally.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain clean and organized tables, sections, and service stations.
- Assist with side work, stocking, and opening/closing duties.
- Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, hosts, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent customer service and hospitality mindset.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak beach season.
