Job Overview
HC Remodel & Design is seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our growing team. We are looking for someone with experience in residential remodeling, finish carpentry, cabinet install, demolition, and installation work who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Install trim, baseboards, crown molding, and finish carpentry details
- Install doors, windows, cabinets, and related components
- Perform demolition work safely and efficiently
- Assist with remodeling projects including framing, repairs, and finish work
- Read and follow project plans, specifications, and measurements
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Communicate effectively with project managers, team members, and homeowners
- Follow company safety procedures and building codes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of carpentry or remodeling experience preferred
- Experience with trim carpentry, door installation, Cabinet installation, and window installation
- Knowledge of residential construction and remodeling practices
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Clean Driving Record
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor throughout the day
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Preferred Skills
- Experience with framing and trim work
- Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Customer service experience in occupied homes
