Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with their arrival, providing information about the course and available amenities
- Oversee event setup and management for tournaments, outings, or special occasions, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish
- Enforce safety protocols during outdoor activities, including manual handling of equipment and heavy lifting when setting up or breaking down event spaces
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts promptly, and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors
- Conduct safety checks around the course, respond to minor injuries with first aid or CPR when necessary, and coordinate with emergency responders if required
- Assist with retail sales of golf merchandise or equipment, processing transactions efficiently using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of outdoor areas, including course pathways, equipment storage, and event spaces
- Collaborate with team members to manage crowd control during busy periods and ensure adherence to safety protocols
Experience
- Previous experience in events management or venue operations is highly desirable
- Strong background in customer service within outdoor or hospitality environments
- Experience working with children is a plus, especially during family-oriented events or programs
- Familiarity with retail sales, cash handling, POS systems, and processing transactions accurately
- Knowledge of safety protocols including first aid certification (CPR training preferred) and manual handling techniques
- Outdoor work experience demonstrating comfort working in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills suitable for public speaking and guest interactions
- Background in food service or resort environments is advantageous
- Theater or public speaking experience can enhance guest engagement efforts
