We are looking for a part-time bartender. You will be responsible for serving customers in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner. As a bartender, you must love interacting with people and use your multi-tasking skills to attend to multiple customers simultaneously. You must have excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with difficult customers, while being able to inspire team spirit among group members. You must be able to maintain a high level of emotional control and take initiative while maintaining our customer-focused standards. Ultimately, the role of Bartender is to foster a fun and friendly environment that will keep customers coming back. This is a part-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly manner.
- Take and record customer orders.
- Prepare and serve drinks to customers.
- Maintain table service by clearing and cleaning tables, taking orders, refilling water glasses etc..
- Serve food to customers seated at the bar.
- Ensure the bar is stocked with appropriate beverages and items for sale.
- Comply with bar regulations and standards, e.g. ID verification .
- Organize and clean the bar area before service begins, between service shifts and at the end of the shift.
- Clean glasses, mugs and other glassware as assigned by management.
- Maintain an attractive work station (e.g. cleanliness, organization).
- Communicate with other team members about customer needs, orders, complaints and refills.
- Serve as an entertainment host by recommending featured beverages or drinks with certain dishes.
