At this time we have and opening for a Bridge/Highway Superintendent in the western PA market.
Candidate responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Complete supervision and responsibility for the job site field operations, including daily production, costs, safety, organization, labor & equipment scheduling and management, subcontractor management.
The candidate must have a strong background in the following areas:
Bridge and Highway projects performed for PennDot.
Additional Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-10 years experience as a Jobsite Superintendent
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to details
- Willing to take ownership of the project
- Preparing work plans, scheduling and directing work crews and subcontractors
- Develop “look ahead” schedules for crews, equipment and material
- Strong knowledge of plans and specifications
- Good understanding of various PennDot, Federal, State and local industry-related regulations
- Good understanding of working safely and OSHA requirements
- Must have a proven track record
- Current valid Drivers License & Medical Card
