This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while educating and guiding customers through a safe, welcoming, and compliant cannabis purchasing experience.

Customer Experience
- Welcome every customer with professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm.
- Deliver a customer-first experience through active listening, personalized recommendations, and thoughtful communication.
- Educate customers on cannabis products, consumption methods, potency, effects, and responsible use.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and judgment-free environment for both new and experienced consumers.
- Support repeat business through relationship building, loyalty program engagement, and community-focused interactions.
Sales & Product Knowledge
- Maintain strong knowledge of cannabis products including flower, concentrates, edibles, vapes, tinctures, and accessories.
- Stay informed on current promotions, featured products, inventory updates, and industry trends.
- Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions based on desired experiences and individual preferences.
- Support store sales goals while maintaining a service-driven approach.
Operations & Compliance
- Ensure all transactions are completed accurately and in compliance with state and company regulations.
- Verify customer identification and maintain strict adherence to cannabis compliance standards.
- Assist with inventory organization, product restocking, merchandising, and maintaining visual presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the sales floor and work areas.
- Support daily opening, closing, and operational procedures as assigned.
Team & Culture
- Contribute positively to team culture through professionalism, accountability, communication, and collaboration.
- Demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and a willingness to support store operations where needed.
- Represent the TRP brand and values with integrity and consistency.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- Must meet all state requirements to work in a licensed cannabis facility.
- Passion for cannabis, cannabis culture, and customer education.
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service or retail experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic computer and POS system proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous cannabis dispensary experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cannabis strains, terpene profiles, cannabinoids, and consumption methods.
- Experience with retail sales goals, upselling, or loyalty programs.

Work Environment
This position operates in a professional retail dispensary environment and routinely uses standard office and retail technology including computers, POS systems, tablets, and communication devices.
The role may require evening, weekend, and holiday availability based on business needs.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this position, employees are regularly required to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Communicate verbally with customers and team members
- Use hands and arms for reaching, handling, and operating equipment
- Occasionally lift and move products or materials up to 50 pounds
