LOCATION: Mound Park Upper Elementary School and Chatterton Middle School
WORK YEAR: 2026-2027 School Year
SALARY: Per FEA Contract
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Michigan Secondary or Elementary Teaching Certificate required with endorsement in BA or BX.
- Experience in elementary and/or middle school classroom instruction.
- Ability to manage time and be self-directed.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with at risk students.
- Patience to work with diverse populations and language barriers.
- Ability to manage time and work individually.

- Enthusiastic, Energetic, Positive and Professional.
- Experience with online learning Edgenuity preferred.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for planning, assessment, and instruction.
- Implement curriculum according to the Michigan Common Core State Standards and district adopted curriculum.
- Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction.
- Interpret and use data from ongoing assessments to inform instruction.
- Participate in professional development and implement best practice.
- Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies.
- Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities.
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to improve student achievement in the content areas.
Pay: $46,760.00 - $94,451.00 per year
