Sales Representative – Event Services
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and guiding customers through the event booking process from the initial inquiry to the final confirmation.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about creating memorable experiences through exceptional customer service. Our company specializes in decorating personal and corporate events, serving a diverse clientele with a strong connection to the Hispanic community.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective clients through phone, email, social media, and other communication channels.
- Identify new business opportunities and actively generate leads.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the sales process.
- Understand each client's vision and recommend decoration packages and services that best fit their event and budget.
- Prepare and follow up on quotes, proposals, and event bookings.
- Maintain accurate customer information and sales activity records.
- Coordinate with the operations and design teams to ensure a smooth client experience.
- Follow up with past clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Meet individual sales goals while contributing to the overall growth of the company.
- Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after the booking process.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a client-facing role.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, and CRM or customer management systems.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the event planning, hospitality, wedding, or decoration industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with social media messaging platforms and online customer communication.
- Experience working with the Hispanic market is highly valued.
