Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Rural Carrier to support our Sunday and Federal Holiday delivery operations in the Rush City area. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on community service and logistical efficiency. Mail trucks are provided, but you may have to use your personal vehicle if needed, you will be compensated at a rate of $ .95 cents per mile driven which is tax free.
Work location is 265 W 5th St, Rush City, MN 55069.
Responsibilities
- Assist with route driving to deliver packages efficiently within designated rural areas
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with recipients and addressing inquiries when necessary
- Follow safety protocols during all aspects of loading, unloading, and driving activities
Experience
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Previous route driving experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for specific routes and procedures
Pay: $21.89 per hour
