Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Customer Service Representative to join our medical laboratory team. The ideal candidate will possess working knowledge in laboratory environment, testing, results, excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and customers, providing support, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience with our laboratory. This position offers an engaging environment where your organizational skills and attention to detail will contribute significantly to our company's success.
Responsibilities
- Front lobby duties, client and visitors' registration entrance, respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via multi-line phone systems, email, and in-person interactions.
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors, handling incoming calls, and directing them appropriately.
- Maintain accurate data entry and filing systems using Monday(CRM)Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Laboratory Information System (LIS) and other office management tools.
- Provide exceptional customer support by addressing concerns, resolving issues efficiently, and following up to ensure satisfaction.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as calendar management, appointment scheduling, proofreading documents, and managing office supplies.
- Support medical billing, insurance qualifications, patient demographic activities.
- Coordinate office activities to ensure smooth daily operations while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office management or administrative support roles with a focus on customer service.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and familiarity with data entry processes.
- Previous clerical experience including filing, proofreading, and managing multi-line phone systems.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively serve diverse client populations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in medical or laboratory receptionist roles is a plus, along with personal assistant experience or office experience involving calendar management.
- Knowledge of office management software such as excel, Teams meetings, video assistance and training.
