Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and qualified individual to fill a dual role as a Personal Trainer and Front Desk Representative. This position combines administrative facility operations with hands-on fitness coaching. The ideal candidate will manage the front desk for 2–3 shifts per week (6-hour shifts) and build a personal training clientele utilizing internal leads provided by the gym.
Shift Structure & Compensation
- Front Desk: 2 to 3 shifts per week (6-hour shifts). Paid at a standard hourly base rate.
- Personal Training: Hours are flexible based on client scheduling and gym leads. Paid at a premium training rate per session.
Responsibilities
Front Desk Operations:
- Manage member check-ins, process payments, and register new memberships.
- Answer phone calls, handle email inquiries, and manage class/training schedules.
- Provide information regarding club services, amenities, and membership packages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk and reception area.
Personal Training:
- Conduct fitness assessments and goal-setting consultations with members.
- Design and execute safe, effective, and goal-oriented workout programs for clients.
- Follow up on internal facility leads to onboard new training clients.
- Ensure proper form and safety protocols are followed on the weight floor.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience working in the fitness industry is preferred.
- Certification: Any accredited Personal Training Certification is acceptable (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, etc.).
- Skills: Strong communication skills, punctuality, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to work independently during desk shifts.
