Position: Event Setup Crew (Part-Time, Flexible Hours)
Location: Chelsea, MI
Pay: $18–$20/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Part-time; primarily evenings/weekends based on event schedule
About the Role:
We are an event venue seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to assist with event setup and breakdown. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in getting things exactly right.
What You’ll Do:
- Set up tables, chairs, linens, and décor based on provided layouts
- Follow diagrams and instructions to ensure accurate event setups
- Assist with event breakdown and resetting spaces
- Help maintain a clean and organized environment
Important: Attention to Detail Matters
Each event has a specific layout that must be followed exactly. Small mistakes (incorrect table placement, missing items, etc.) can impact the event experience.
We are looking for someone who:
- Carefully follows instructions
- Double-checks their work before finishing
- Notices when something is off and fixes it
What to Expect:
- Schedule is based on booked events (you will receive advance notice)
- Hours will vary week to week
- Most shifts are evenings and weekends
- Work is physical and requires being on your feet
