Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented RV Rental Prep Technician/General Maintenance Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing rental RVs to meet company standards, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring each vehicle is clean, safe, and ready for customer use. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough cleaning of RV interiors and exteriors, including vehicle interior detailing and exterior washing to ensure a pristine appearance.
- Perform vehicle paint correction and automotive buffing to maintain high-quality exterior finishes.
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire checks, fluid top-offs, and light repairs to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
- Operate standard passenger cars and other vehicles safely, adhering to all safe work practices and traffic regulations.
- Assist with window tinting applications and other cosmetic enhancements as needed.
- Use cleaning equipment and janitorial tools efficiently while maintaining a clean auto detailing facility environment.
- Handle heavy lifting safely when moving or positioning RVs or related equipment, following proper safety protocols.
- Conduct vehicle exterior washing, interior detailing, and overall cleanliness maintenance to uphold company standards.
- Support the team with general custodial duties around the facility to ensure a safe, organized workspace.
- Document maintenance activities accurately and report any vehicle issues or safety concerns promptly.
Skills
- Experience operating standard passenger cars with a focus on safe driving practices.
- Knowledge of vehicle paint correction techniques and automotive buffing tools such as automotive buffers.
- Proficiency in vehicle interior detailing, exterior washing, and general cleaning procedures using appropriate equipment.
- Familiarity with auto detailing facility operations, including the use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while handling RVs or maintenance supplies.
- Strong understanding of safe work practices within an automotive or janitorial environment.
- Experience with window tinting application is a plus but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills to assist clients during rental pick-up or drop-off processes.
- Basic knowledge of manual transmission operation for driving various vehicles within the fleet.
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience that emphasizes cleanliness standards and safety protocols.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
