Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring a tidy and inviting dining area for guests.
- Assist with bussing dishes, glassware, and silverware to maintain cleanliness throughout service.
- Support food service staff by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, supplies, or equipment following safe lifting practices.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnovers and service flow.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols to uphold health standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong cleaning skills with an understanding of sanitation procedures.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
- Customer service mindset with a positive attitude and eagerness to assist.
- Knowledge of table setting, serving techniques, and food safety standards is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
