Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about food, beverages, and specials with enthusiasm.
- Take accurate orders using Toast
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Manage cash handling, process sales transactions accurately, and handle credit card payments with professionalism.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations; assist with bussing tables and resetting dining areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food preparation meets quality standards; support guest relations by addressing needs promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of Toast POS system.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Wine expertise in serving, describing and presenting.
- Culinary experience or food handling knowledge to assist in food preparation or service when needed.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
- Basic math skills for cashiering, sales transaction processing, and cash handling accuracy.
- Familiarity with wine knowledge, spirits experience, cocktail preparation, and food safety standards is advantageous.

Pay: $16.90 - $18.00 per hour
