Job Overview
The Electronic Security Technician III is a senior-level field technician responsible for the
advanced installation, service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronic security
systems including access control, video surveillance (CCTV), intrusion detection, intercoms,
and integrated security solutions. This role requires strong technical skills, system-level
troubleshooting experience, and the ability to lead and mentor less experienced technicians
in the field.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission complex electronic security systems with minimal
- supervision.
- Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to execute installations according to design and specifications.
- Troubleshoot system-level problems and perform corrective maintenance on all
- system types.
- Lead small teams of technicians and apprentices on job sites and ensure work quality and code compliance.
- Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades to ensure timely and efficient job completion.
- Perform system testing and verification in accordance with manufacturer and
- customer requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed including daily logs, material usage, and test results.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians.
- Interface directly with clients in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
- Stay current on industry best practices, code updates, and emerging technologies.
- Advanced technical aptitude and problem-solving ability.

- RS2 Certification
Pay: $36.00 - $45.00 per hour
