Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Swimming Coach to join our team and provide expert coaching to swimmers of all levels. The ideal candidate will have a passion for swimming and coaching, with experience in various related fields such as physical education, sports coaching, and lifeguarding.
Duties:
- Develop and implement training programs for swimmers based on their skill levels
- Provide individualized coaching to improve technique, endurance, and performance
- Organize and supervise swim practices and competitions
- Ensure the safety of all swimmers during training sessions and events
- Motivate and inspire swimmers to reach their full potential
- Collaborate with other coaches to enhance overall team performance
Requirements:
- Previous experience in swimming instruction or coaching
- Certification in lifeguarding or water safety (preferred)
- Knowledge of different swimming strokes and techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with swimmers of all ages and skill levels
- Experience working with students in physical education and working with kids and or adults with special needs is a plus
