Harter's Fox Valley Disposal is searching for a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing yard work, assisting with sandblasting and painting trash cans, and be able to assist the General Laborer Manager with any additional maintenance. Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Trash Can Maintenance: Cleaning interior and exterior of trash cans. Removing debris, residue and odors using appropriate cleaning tools and solutions.
- Yard Maintenance: Perform regular mowing, trimming, and general upkeep of the yard and surrounding outdoor area to ensure a clean and professional appearance.
- Sandblasting and Painting Assistance: Support sandblasting operations, and then assist in painting of trash cans.
- General Labor Duties: Perform other manual labor tasks as assigned, including loading/unloading material, moving equipment, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Qualifications & Physical Demands
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly, stand for long periods, and work in awkward positions.
- Basic understanding of tools, mechanical aptitude, and safety procedures.
- Valid driver's license
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
