IL Gelato Hawaii is one of Oahu's most loved local brands. We serve world champion gelato, handcrafted espresso drinks, acai bowls, crepes, and waffles at our Haleiwa location on the beautiful North Shore. Our founder competed for Team USA at the Gelato World Championship, and that same passion for quality shows up in everything we do, including how we take care of our team.
We're growing, and we're looking for great people to grow with us. We're currently hiring Retail Associates and Shift Leads for our Haleiwa location, full time and part time.
No experience? No problem. We provide full training and set every team member up for success from day one. Many of our current Store Managers started in this exact role.
Your Path Here: Retail Associate → Shift Lead → Assistant Manager → Store Manager

What You Earn and Get

What You Will Actually Be Doing
- Scooping gelato and preparing espresso and specialty drinks
- Making acai bowls, crepes, and waffles
- Creating genuine, warm guest experiences for locals and visitors alike
- Operating the register and handling transactions accurately
- Keeping the store clean, organized, and running at its best
- Supporting your team during high volume periods
- Leading shifts and mentoring newer team members (Shift Lead role)
You'll walk away with real, transferable skills in customer service, food and beverage, specialty coffee, and leadership.

No experience required. Just bring your energy and your work ethic, we'll take care of the rest. We're looking for people who take pride in their work, enjoy being part of a team, and want to be part of something they can actually feel good about. A positive attitude and a genuine interest in food and hospitality go a long way here.
