Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with a focus on providing exceptional service in both casual and fine dining settings. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations based on their preferences.
- Manage inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper math skills are applied during service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary, enhancing the overall dining experience.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling practices.
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred, particularly in fine dining or catering environments.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods.
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and the ability to create custom cocktails based on guest requests.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older as required by law for serving alcohol.
- Food handling certification is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided as needed.
