We are seeking passionate and experienced Retired Teachers and those who love teaching children to join our team as Preschool Teacher Daycare Specialists and teacher. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to stimulate children’s cognitive and social skills
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence among preschoolers and toddlers
- Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management, and individualized instruction for children with special education needs or requiring early intervention
- Monitor and assess each child's developmental progress through observations and standardized testing to tailor educational strategies effectively
- Collaborate with parents and guardians by providing regular updates on their child's growth, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or behavior
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson plans, and developmental assessments in compliance with licensing standards
- Support the overall well-being of children by ensuring proper childcare routines such as meal times, nap schedules, and hygiene practices
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting; prior classroom management experience is essential
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and special education practices
- Familiarity with curriculum development techniques across various educational disciplines including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners
- Ability to manage classroom behavior positively while fostering an inclusive environment for all learners
- Demonstrated understanding of childcare regulations and standards for early childhood education programs
- Previous experience in private school or daycare environments is preferred; certification in early childhood education or related fields is a plus
