Alloy Engineering is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to support our Quality team in ensuring the highest standards of product quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will work closely with Quality Inspectors, Engineering, and Production teams to help maintain compliance, investigate quality issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide support for the Quality Inspectors to assure all customer contract requirements are fulfilled and assist with the administration of the Quality Management System.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement corrective actions for quality issues, considering the impact on performance in extreme conditions.
- Participate in root cause analysis investigations to identify and eliminate quality problems that may affect performance under high temperatures and corrosion.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of quality control plans and procedures specific to high-performance alloy equipment.
- Investigate and process Non-Conforming Material reports for discrepancies on in-house parts, vendor parts, and Customer returns.
- Analyze inspection data and identify trends or quality issues related to high-temperature and corrosion resistance.
- Conduct routine inspections and tests on raw materials, parts from suppliers, work in progress, and finished products to ensure conformance to quality standards and specifications, especially for high-temperature and corrosive applications.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Engineering Associates degree, Technical or vocational training in quality control or a related field preferred.
- Experience in Quality documents creation and process management such as Inspection Test Plan (ITP), Material Test Report review, and Document package.
- Experience managing QC processes such as Non-conforming materials (NCRs), customer returns.
- Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.) or manufacturing codes (AWS, ASME, etc.).
- Proficiency in computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, quality management software).
- Experience with continuous improvement of processes and Root Cause analysis.
- Experience using hand tools (e.g., tape measures, calipers, etc) to inspect parts
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications for complex industrial equipment.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the metalworking industry.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
- Work hours- Monday-Friday- 6:00am-4:30pm and Saturdays as needed
Employment Requirements:

Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
