Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Residential Group Home Manager in our medical group home located in Kenvil, NJ to lead and oversee the implementation of comprehensive residential services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role is essential for creating a nurturing and supportive environment that encourages independence and community involvement. The Residential Group Home Manager will ensure our individuals’ medical, behavioral, nutritional, and personal care needs are met in collaboration with staff members. Qualifications:
- Medical group home experience required.
- Licensed LPN or RN highly preferred.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and DDD licensing standards.
- Valid New Jersey driver’s license in good standing.

- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with, residents, families and staff members.
- Exceptional leadership skills and the capability to manage a team of employees.
- Capacity to address challenges creatively and efficiently.
- Must be available on an on-call basis to provide immediate support during emergency situations.
Essential Job Functions:
- Supervises and maintain a positive team of well trained employees who provide support, direction and oversight to the interactions of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Develop and implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs), coordinate medical appointments, and oversee program and clinical reviews to meet individual needs.
- Completes or supervises completion of all documentation required at the service location including medication administration records (MARs), incident reports, monthly reports, etc.
- Oversee all aspects of staff scheduling, disciplinary action and annual performance evaluations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Serving as a liaison between residents, families, staff and healthcare professionals.
- Communicate with Tender Care leadership, making sure issues or concerns are properly addressed.
