About Us
Masaya Homes designs and builds thoughtfully crafted prefab homes and accessory dwelling units (ADUs) for property owners across California. Our homes combine modern design, panelized construction, and responsibly sourced teak grown on our reforestation projects, where we have planted more than 1.2 million trees to date.
Each project is built with a focus on quality, sustainability, and longevity. Rather than mass-producing homes, we work closely with each client to design a home that fits their property, lifestyle, and goals. By combining sustainable materials, efficient construction methods, and a collaborative client process, Masaya Homes is helping set a new standard for how homes are designed and built in California.
About the Role
We are looking for a creative, story-driven Digital Marketing Assistant to join our team part-time. Content creation is the heart of this role, from capturing moments in the field to producing assets that bring the Masaya Homes story to life. This is a hands-on position for someone who loves telling stories through visuals and words and understands how great content builds trust.
What You'll Do
Content Creation (the main focus)
- Design 30 to 40 pieces of content per month: feed posts, carousels, reels, and stories for Instagram and LinkedIn
- Develop and run a consistent content calendar aligned with the Masaya brand voice and tone
- Write short-form copy for posts, stories, reels, and email campaigns
- Design graphics and edit short video clips in Figma
- Schedule and publish content in HubSpot
- Bring ideas to the table
Content Capture (1-2x a month)
- Photograph and film projects at various stages: showroom, job sites, and client homes across California
- Capture client interviews that highlight real stories and the Masaya experience
- Photograph local trade and community events
- Build and maintain an organized content library (photos, video, reels, quotes)
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a marketing, content creation, or social media role
- A strong visual storyteller who knows how to make a photo, reel, or caption stop the scroll
- Comfortable behind a camera (photo and video) in real-world settings, not just the studio
- Proficiency in Figma (Adobe Creative Suite is a plus)
- Experience or strong interest in local press outreach and community brand building
- Excellent written communication: concise, warm, and on-brand
- Organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing multiple priorities with little oversight
- Interest in sustainable building, home design, or real estate is a strong plus
- Experience with on-camera or recorded client interviews is a plus
