Full-Time | Weekend Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
We are currently seeking an experienced RN Clinical Supervisor for a direct-hire opportunity with a leading healthcare system in Tulsa, OK.
Position Summary
The RN Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical leadership and support for a Cardiac Surgical Step Down Unit while overseeing staffing, patient placement, and quality patient care. This role is ideal for an experienced cardiac RN with leadership experience who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff during assigned shifts
- Assist with staffing assignments and patient placement
- Serve as a clinical resource for patient care and problem resolution
- Monitor quality of care and adherence to hospital policies
- Coach and mentor nursing personnel
- Coordinate patient transfers and bed management
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, patients, and families
- Participate in performance improvement and staff education initiatives
Qualifications
✔ Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact RN License
✔ Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Surgical Step Down experience required
✔ Previous Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or leadership experience preferred
✔ Strong knowledge of telemetry and post-cardiac surgery patient care
✔ Excellent communication and organizational skills
Schedule
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekend Premium Schedule:
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday OR
- Saturday, Sunday, Monday
- 36 hours per week
