Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist with experience in high-volume manufacturing environments. Proven expertise in executing precise three-way matching, resolving vendor discrepancies, and optimizing supply chain payment workflows
Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Verify invoice details, purchase orders, and approvals before payment.
- Match invoices by receiving documents and purchase orders (three-way matching).
- Prepare and process electronic transfers, checks, and other payment methods.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments and account status.
- Monitor payment schedules to ensure timely payments and avoid late fees.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and comply with company policies and accounting standards.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice and payment issues.
- Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, document scanning, and record maintenance.
- Assist with Various Federal, State, and Financial Audits.
- Process Asset Depreciation and reconcile Ledger versus General Ledger.
- Assist with month end duties to analyze financial data, track KPIs, and follow up on outstanding items.
- Support Sales department by setting product prices and weights in the system, ensuring accurate data entry and uploads.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Associate’s degree in business is helpful but not required.
3+ years accounts payable experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of basic accounting and standard costing systems
Experience in inventory cycles, counts and reconciliations.
Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS)

Pay: $53,500.00 - $59,500.00 per year
