Global Importing Group, a leading distributor of European foods, is launching a new distribution center in Houston and seeks a hands-on Warehouse Associate to build our operations team.
What You'll Do:
- Manage daily warehouse operations: receiving, storage, order picking, and shipping.
- Inventory control, including cycle counts and stock rotation (FIFO).
- Picking, packing and handling boxes up to 60 lbs.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience: 1+ years in a warehouse.
- Equipment: Forklift, pallet jack is a plus.
- Language: Russian is a strong plus.
What You'll Get:
Base Rate: $12 - 18 / hr (there is 1.5 prorate if overtime)
- Entry-level: $12.00 - $15.00 / hr (General labor, basic packing, smaller regional companies)
- Mid-level: $15.00 - $18.00 / hr (Requires 1-2 years experience, pallet jack/forklift familiarity)
Benefits: Paid Time Off (Vacation and Sick Time).
