Cranemasters is seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical failures, performing repairs and rebuilds, and delivering routine preventive maintenance on a wide range of heavy equipment. This position also requires participation in 24/7 emergency response operations, providing critical field repairs when equipment failures occur.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures using advanced mechanical knowledge and standard procedures
- Perform complex repairs, rebuilds, and modifications on heavy equipment including cranes, dozers, excavators, trucks, and diesel engines
- Respond to emergency service calls, including nights/weekends/holidays
- Accurately complete all required documentation (work orders, time sheets, inspection reports, etc.)
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment
- Follow all safety policies and support team training efforts
Skills/Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED; technical training preferred
- 5+ years experience with heavy equipment repair
- ASE certifications and DOT/FMCSA knowledge (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license (CDL A/B preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain 24/7 availability
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Work in shop and field environments in all weather conditions
- Stand, walk, bend, and work extended hours as needed
