Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of building materials, including water, sewer pipe and fittings
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, measuring, and assembling components
- Support masonry and concrete work
- Conduct site cleanup and organize materials to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Follow detailed construction plans and technical drawings for various projects
- Support heavy equipment operation under supervision for tasks like excavation or material transport
Skills
- Experience with construction site work in outdoor environments across diverse construction projects
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic fabrication techniques
- Knowledge of construction management principles and safety protocols adherence
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Experience operating heavy equipment safely in compliance with safety regulations
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in physically demanding conditions
